I started running back in 2009. I saw an add in a magazine for the Disney Princess Half Marathon. This race will always have a special place in my heart. I decided that I wanted to accomplish something large before my 25th birthday and this was it! I trained for 8 months to be ready for this race. I started with the couch25K program and worked my way up to 13.1 miles using the Galloway training method.
During the day I am a mild-mannered Development and event manager. I am also a Certified USAT and RRCA Race Director living and working in Tampa, FL! I’m trying hard to get healthy and make myself a priority. Far too often we put everything else in front and I’m trying to change that.
